Our Board of Directors are key in helping the hospice provide compassionate care to our community!
The Board works alongside staff and community partners to offer caring and compassionate hospice, home, and community care for those who are experiencing a life-limiting illness, facing end of life, or grieving a loss.
Directors bring their personal skills or knowledge in such areas as finance, law, fundraising, public relations, advocacy, healthcare, or education to the organization. They may also bring the knowledge and perspective of a client or family member.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and accountability of the organization. Among their responsibilities, Directors attend monthly Board meetings, the Annual General Meeting in the fall, and other organization initiatives.
